I was always skeptical about making one of these, probably mostly due to my lack of ability to control the English language, however I eventually caved into the pressure from La Familia.
This trip is without a doubt the most thought-provoking thing that I have planned/done in my almost 22 years of living on this planet. This was a thought that has plagued the back of our minds for months. We tried to plan a month long trip around Europe last October before eventually bottling the idea due to other life commitments. This time, those commitments have been put to one side, ignored and discarded.
The vague outline of the trip is the following countries: Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. Ideas have been thrown around for the route and the ideas of what to do within these countries however very little has been set in stone. I hope you enjoy following our journey through the meandering routes around the great Andean mountain range.
Our flight goes on Tuesday the 14th of June. It's very difficult to describe the concoction of feelings bubbling around in my mind.
As they say in The Dark Knight Rises - "Let the Games Begin!".
