Thankfully I woke up feeling a lot better than the previous day for our final day in La Paz. We didn't really have much planned for the day which was a relief. I definitely wasn't feeling 100%. We were able to slowly meander the market-full streets of La Paz. Despite it's pain and suffering from both imbeciles, and the lack of doing much, La Paz has actually managed to be quite enjoyable.

Packing our bags seemed to take forever before we eventually left our bags behind as we went out for a stroll. As we sat down for lunch (a serious struggle) Emma realised that she did not have her earrings in, but could not recall packing them away - panic time. We messaged the host and asked if they could check for us.

A delicious freshly-made juice in the main market later, combined with buying our bus tickets for later and we were ready to stroll some more. For some reason the maps app was really struggling to try and lead us to one of the cable car stations on the other side of La Paz. It said it was only about 2.5km away which was not too far. However, thanks to a few misturns, the 30 minute walk turned into roughly 90 minutes. One highlight was walking along a bridge twice as we realised that we couldn't get through on the other side.

Eventually we made it to the cable car which then took us back quite close to our accommodation. Upon arriving back, we were greeted by Emma being told that her earrings had been found! What a success. Upon closer inspection they were different... One was not her earring and one was thus still missing. Some frantic searching later and she found it on the other side of the room - very bizarre. But it led to a happier Emma so it's all good. An interesting way to finish La Paz.
