Thanks to the proximity of Puerto Iguazu and with it, Iguazu Falls lying so close to borders - Paraguay is just down the road, we saw an advert that the taxi to Paraguay was £30. The other border actually lies within Iguazu Falls itself and that is to Brazil. You can see the alterior side from the other. We got the bus over to Brazil. The border crossing was incredibly easy and straight-forward. A quick stamp from Argentina and one from Brazil and we were through. The Brazilian Iguazu entrance fee was lower, much to our delight of course.

Just within the park you get onto an open top bus and head deeper into the jungle and towards the falls. We could immediately see a panoramic view of a section of the falls that we had walked just above the previous day. It looked fantastic. We were joined again by plenty of the small mammals, we have since learned that they are called coaties in Argentina and quatis in Brazil.

They mostly followed our journey along a set path that continuously gave us more and more views of more sections of waterfalls. The complete size is probably the most outstanding feature.

Towards the end and where we visited the top part on firstly yesterday, we were able to walk along a walkway that took us very close to the cascading water. Plenty of people risked the heat and put on coats to protect from the spray. Most of the spray was fine and barely noticeable apart from when the wind picked up at times.

Lunch was hilarious. The quatis (I prefer this spelling) were circling all of the unsuspecting tourists sitting at their tables and eating their lunches. That was until one of the quatis struck. Out of the corner of my eye I notice a situation occurring. In the flash of an eye the quatis jumped into the table and stole a packet of crisps. It took the packet in it's mouth and sprinted off, being chased by an employee with a stick. I couldn't stop laughing and I soon became more of the attention than the thieving quatis.

We had our last night bus and I think final long distance bus too. We had gone for bed instead of semi-bed as the timing suited a lot more. We were not expecting the luxury that was bestored upon us. Firstly the seats were highly comfortable, there was a package of a blanket and a pillow - simply fantastic. Not long before dinner we were offered a glass of whiskey with ice. We naturally accepted, this was much to Emma's distaste. It's safe to say that she was not a fan. This was followed up by a tasty dinner, a can of beer and a glass of champagne. Albeit this was mostly cheap materials, but it was highly appreciated. I can tell I'm going to sleep well on this bus.
